Delivering positivity through Covid-19

Despite the challenges of the last year, our community at Arbourside Court in Surrey, British Columbia navigated through the unknown with grace, maintaining some level of connection, while providing experiences that enrich the lives of our residents.

One of the biggest benefits of living in Arbourside Court is the sense of community one can receive from our employees, service providers, and also the residents themselves. News of the pandemic meant some uncertainty on maintaining this sense of community. But through the efforts of everyone, we were still able to do so in a safe manner.

Despite adjustments being made around smaller groups, mandatory masks and lots of social distancing, it was clear that these efforts did not go unnoticed by our residents. The gratitude we received in giving everyone the opportunity to still maintain that sense of community was very much felt and appreciated.

We recently celebrated the end of a long dark winter with blooms, blossoms and smiles, (through masks, of course). To top it all off, we also received our COVID-19 vaccinations!

Although social distancing and masks are still in place, we’re optimistic that even brighter days are just around the corner. It’s only a matter of time before we celebrate with full smiles and hugs all around.
